A conversation with Toni Krizter, a fellow Disabled artist, birthed the term ‘Chronic Projects.’ GTM’s relationship to projects may change, but they stay with us, reoccur, shape shift, and overlap just like the history of pain and illnesses in our Disabled bodies and minds.
From dance to writing, festivals to community space building, healing arts projects and more than human kin relational research, GTM’s projects have taken different shapes across a vast spectrum — all informed by years of embodied research and many collaborators.

The Move Concert
Seven dance artists + more than 30 singers and musicians live on stage. Tender duets, darkly funny solos, body percussion, and an unhinged rendition of the holiday classic the Nutcracker in 7 minutes to close the show.
Seeking…
“Seeking…” is a blend of choreographed contemporary dance, contact improvisation and improvisational scores. Much of the piece takes place with the performers blindfolded so as to emphasise the sense of searching and discovery.
Color Outside the Lines
Welcome to Color Outside The Lines, the game show meets dance theater project about all things racial. Come discover for yourself that race is more important, much more complicated, and infinitely more ridiculous than you ever imagined.
InVISIBLE
This project underwent five years of development, combining storytelling with dance theatre pieces, and advocacy for the rights of the bi+ community. Under the title inVISIBLE, we have created four dance theatre works about bi+ identity, hosted five bi+ community storytelling workshops, and two bi+ storytelling silent discos.
Unicorn pARTy
Unicorn pARTy is a celebration featuring performances, art, and revelry centering Bi+ artists and celebrating love for more than one gender.
Touch | Screen
One part brunch party and one part interactive performance, Touch | Screen brings warmth and intimacy to the digital space for a 21st century pandemic Valentine’s date (no date required)!
Shedding
Through a year and a half spent in bed due to acute illness, lifelong disability, and the cumulative effects of structural inequities, Kai Hazelwood was accompanied by her beloved snake Bisoux. Shedding weaves curiosity and play into learning how to survive a personal apocalyptic moment, and illuminates how these ideas are also critical for ongoing healing from the effects of surviving colonization and its offspring: white supremacy, capitalism, cis-heteronomativity and ableism.
